It’s Volunteer Appreciation Week, and we would like to introduce you to Hammer’s Community Partner Youth Award recipient, Abby Oldham.

Abby Oldham is a senior at Wayzata High School, and a one on one volunteer with Gina at Emery. When Abby visits Gina, they do whatever Gina likes to do: paint nails, watch movies and watch cooking shows. Abby has also brought her dog Bentley to visit.

Abby was invited to and attended the state of the house party which made Gina happy to have someone there just for her. Abby has also volunteered at Reach for Ralph and Community Life’s Earth Day Celebration.

Thank you, Abby, for being such a wonderful friend to Gina!
