Full-time employees who are scheduled for and work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to receive the following benefits:

Short & Long Term Disability

Hammer offers short term and long term disability at no cost to the employee


Hammer allows employees to voluntarily withhold pre-tax dollars for medical and dental expenses. (Optional to the employee)

Life Insurance

Hammer offers $10,000 of Life Insurance and AD&D coverage at no cost to the employee 

An additional $10,000 of Life Insurance for employees who stay at Hammer for 10 years!

Medical & Dental Insurance

Employees who work 30 hours are also eligible for health insurance

All employees are eligible for the following benefits:

Paid Time Off (PTO)

PTO is accrued for each hour worked – Full time employees working 40 hours a week earn 5 weeks of PTO their first year

After 3 years PTO accrues faster

PTO can be exchanged for cash up to two times a year


Employees can get up to 3% for employer contribution

Vision Plans

Full and Part-time employees and their families are eligible to enroll in Hammer’s vision plan


Direct care staff are paid time-and-a half when they work on the following holidays:

New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Day
Memorial Day
July 4
Labor Day
Day after Thanksgiving
Christmas Day
