Fundraising Priorities
- Caregivers and hospice care professionals who are specifically trained in dementia, personal care, and end-of-life care, competitive compensation, and necessary tools to provide evolving levels of care.
- Homes to be purchased or adapted for people’s changing needs (with ramps, widened hallways, roll-in showers, accessible outdoor spaces, lift vans).
- Technology that enhances independence, health and safety. This may include sensors, communication devices, and telecare alarms.
- A model of service for those who are not working, employed part-time or retired with opportunities to socialize and spend time in their communities participating in meaningful activities during the day.
With these unique supports, our caregivers will meet the complex needs of those we serve who are aging and living with intellectual disabilities.
