At Hammer & NER, our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) make these moments possible. They are there for the everyday routines, the hard moments and the milestones worth celebrating. Over time, they get to know each person—their preferences, and what matters most to them. That consistency matters. And protecting it takes all of us.

The cost of providing care around the clock exceeds what state funding covers. Each year, Hammer & NER invests approximately $1 million of its own resources to strengthen DSP compensation beyond state funding. We also invest in training to help DSPs grow in their work.
