Individualized Community Support DSP

We currently have a great opportunity available for experienced, dedicated individuals who have a passion working with people with intellectual disabilities.

Job duties include:
Full-time or part-time days, afternoons, evenings or weekend hours are available. Primary Duties: Work one-on-one with a child or adult with disability in their own home or their families’ home. Provide supervision, training, and assistance in activities of daily living to individuals with disabilities in their home and the community. It is expected that the ideal candidate would interact with individuals we support in a supportive, caring manner, work cooperatively with teams, families and other professionals. Assist individuals with activities such as exercise, cooking, shopping, and leisure activities. Provide transportation, companionship, and advocacy for any work toward personal goals. Effectively implement programs according to individual needs including planning and thorough documentation of progress on outcomes Follow all procedures to care for each person’s health and safety, including medical or behavioral emergencies.
